About Summit Kids

Mission Statement

"To provide Calgary families with the highest quality out-of-school time
by way of innovative learning, nuturing environments & enriched programming."

Summit Kids began collaborating with the Calgary Board of Education in 2009 when we opened our first out-of-school time program within University Elementary School. Since then, our unique and one-of-its-kind program has gained three additional out-of-school time program locations within W.O. Mitchell School which opened in September 2010, Terrace Road School and North Haven School, opening September 2011. In addition, Summit Kids have also teamed up with the Calgary Catholic School District and will open a fifth location at Ecole St. Gerard in September 2011.

In our two years of serving Calgary families, Summit Kids has managed to change the face of out-of-school time and is embarking on building a multifaceted, diverse, and matchless program. Summit Kids strives to provide the utmost quality care for the families that we serve. We will accomplish this by promoting leadership, encouraging peer mentoring, modeling good choices, and supporting positive life long habits. In addition, we provide creative learning experiences through technology and create a strong foundation for child led initiatives.
