Summit Kids is a new program with a fresh and innovative approach to out-of-school care. We have developed our curriculum by fostering relationships with various community resources. This enables us to offer an extensive and integrated program that will provide all participants with an array of options for wellness, learning, creativity and social development with a focus on fun and safety. Summit Kids will:
- Promote leadership and encourage peer mentoring.
- Help children with issues they face homework, family, peer, self-
esteem challenges.
- Model good choices and encourage life-long habits with good,
nutrition and recreation.
- Provide creative learning through technology.
- Encourage child-led initiatives.
Together we will create a well-balanced and holistic environment that is safe, fun and educational for our children in an atmosphere that will create a strong sense of self-esteem.
We are privileged to have two fantastic locations in CBE schools – University School & W.O. Mitchell School. Our UES Campus is accredited through The Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services and licensed through Government of Alberta - Children and Youth Services. Our WOM Campus will open its doors on September 2, 2010 – registration is open now!
